Our goal is to help you develop a plan for defining and achieving your career and professional goals starting your first semester at VCU. We offer individual advising appointment to student and alumni (during their first year after graduation.) Each of our advisers can help you with general career questions. Make an appointment with the next available adviser for immediate assistance.

Career Ambassadors

The Career Ambassadors promote the importance of early and often engagement with VCU Career Services and serve an integral role as the first point of contact for VCU students with their career and professional development needs. Trained to provide information on a wide array of career development needs, Career Ambassadors connect and assistance students during our drop-in times with resume and cover letter writing and critiques, job (part-time/full-time) and internship searching, strategies for finding volunteer and shadowing opportunities, as well as provide advice and tips on overall professionalism.
